The coffee and pastries here are so delicious. In the morning it is always busy and the people here are so nice. The pastries are fresh including empanada, nata, portuguese roll with butter.

North Ave is pumping out some great food!! Ilma behind the griddle made us the best cheesesteaks to order, so much flavor and so tender!!! Clearly her heart is in the food she makes, there is a lot of pride in this humble diner. My friend had fresh rice beans & pork that looked like Brazilian grandmas home cookin’! This is a must stop for breakfast or lunch.

Great Portuguese bakery. People is very nice and their food is excellent. The "pastel de nata" was amazing. If you are staying in the neighborhood (airbnb or other) definitely go there to have breakfast before going to Manhattan.
